IAGG Master Class on “Population Ageing and Liveable Environments of Older Persons”

The Master Class is offered by the Global Social Initiative on Ageing (GSIA), a core activity of the IAGG, the mission of which is to build capacity and create knowledge on international issues arising from population ageing. Launched March 2011 to highlight regional and international issues in social, cultural and humanist aspects of aging, the GSIA supports the IAGG mission of promoting outstanding global research and training toward ensuring the well-being and quality-of-life of older persons.

This Master Class on Population Ageing and Liveable Environments of Older Persons is offered as part of a series held in conjunction with IAGG congresses. Recent Master Classes included Population Ageing and the Challenges of Integrating Paid Work and Family Care Work (IAGG European Region 2015 Dublin); and Families, Ageing and Care (IAGG Africa Region 2016 Nairobi).
