A writing workshop targeted at assisting early career investigators (up to 8 years after receiving a PhD) in the preparation and publication of peer review journal articles. The purpose of the workshop was to draw together editorial expertise from across ROSEnet, this workshop provided instruction and insight into scientific writing and the peerreview article publication process.
Outcomes of the workshop for participants included:
• Direction in structuring and drafting scientific papers
• A greater understanding of the peer-review process
• Discussion and feedback on participant draft papers
